Help!

Lily2006

Most likely the wrong place to post this, but how do I upload pictures to my blog if I have no idea what the urls to my images are? If anyone can give me an idea about this I'd be very grateful´- and is this a general forum I'm in right now?

To get an URL, you must host your pictures on a site such as http://www.zimagez.com/#
(but there are many more...)

But normally to post a picture to your blog, there is an icon where you write your post, and you have the options «URL» or «search» (or I dont know what term it is in english, «parcourir» in french...). This last option allow you to search your computer to select the picture you want.
That is the case for most of the blog éditors (blogger, canalblog etc...)
Hope it has help you...

Merci- I can't find that search field though, so I will go about trying to figure it out the long way! I'll take your tips on board.

What's your blog address? Did you create it on www.expat-blog.net?

Lily2006

Yes, I did, but the address of that I do not know.  I'll have to go back and try and get a link...

http://charolite.expat-blog.net/   I wasn't able to upload any photos.  I can't make head or tail of the system process.

You must go in the resources section, create albums, then add your pictures in the album (remember to reduce the size of your pictures before uploading them on the server or they might be automatically rejected).

Then when you're writing a new post, just click on "add a resources" link, and you'll be able to add pictures from your albums in your post.

It's not very complicated, but it requires few days of practice ;)

let me know if there is any problem

Thanks Julien!  I think I managed it. : )

Julien

Great! just be careful with the size of your pictures ;)
