British TV abroad?

Hi Everyone,

Hope you’re all well.

I’ve been missing British television while living abroad but have just discovered a website where I can watch my favourite shows on my laptop in the sunshine! It’s called [moderated: no free ad in your very first message]

Does anyone know any other similar services I can use? It’s great to be able to catch up on all the television I miss from home!

I think you can use the iPlayer, too. You can't actually access it from abroad. There are, however, ways around it. If you use a proxy server based here in the UK, you can use it. There is a video on youtube about how to do it.
Hi

We have been using uk-iplayer.com  been working really great.
cool i use the freetv.com
Free TV software programs are a total scam. They offer only free to watch stations which can be found by a simple search.

The service I have been using for over a year without problems is My Expat Network which allows you to watch or download from BBC/ITV using a UK IP address (useful for other purposes too). Cost is £5 p.m. ($8). They also offer the same thing for US expats for $6.50. Mac, PC & Android.
Haha, try and wtch some american shows - theyre easier to get.
Using the US IP address, American stuff is easy to watch, but I have yet to find a program that downloads Hulu video and movies. All the ones that claim they do are already out of date as Hulu seems to stay one step ahead of the game.
Ive been using www.britishvpn.info for past week to watch Britain's Got Talent, works fine. This ones a fiver a month, I was using hidevpn for a pounds less i think it was but you could only connect for 30gb month then it quits, so if your watching alot of telly its worth making sure its unlimited

Slightly off topic because it's radio but....

Free and works well for radio (and some TV) from all over the place.

I love BBC radio 4.

There's an Android app called "Tune in radio" that allows you to do about the same.
"Tune in radio" on Android is great. I am using it more than one year.
