40th Anniversary of John Lennon and Yoko Ono Peace Bed-In

Amitstat

Dear Sir/ or Madam,

My name is Amit Kshirsagar. I am a freelance writer from Ann Arbor, Michigan, in the United States of America. I am currently living in Nagpur, India. I have written several articles for EKATA, which is a reputed Marathi magazine published in North America and Canada.

I am a huge Beatles fan, and have also written many articles on them, as well as about Second generation Asian Indian Youths, born and raised in the United States.

I am currently writing an article commemorating the 40th Anniversary of The John Lennon & Yoko Ono Bed-In For Peace, to be published in India, since no one here knows much about this cataclysmic and historic event.

     (1)  I would like to ask any Asian Indian expatriates in Vietnam, if they remember the famous Bed-In for Peace by Ex-Beatle John Lennon and Yoko Ono, either in Montreal or in Amsterdam?

     (2)  Would any one care to share what their own personal experiences have been like during the Vietnam War?

I would really appreciate anyone's expertise on this Important topic.

Thank you very much! :)

Sincerely,
Amit Kshirsagar

Hi there,

I am from holland and I remember there was an exposition about the Yoko and John bed for peace action..........their hotel room still exists and there are original drawings in it of John Lennon made during his stay............Yoko went to Holland to celebrate this anniversary........you could google it for more info.

;-)

Good Luck!
