In addition, from July 1, the flights will be served exclusively by Emirates' Airbus A380 to accommodate more passengers. This decision will help meet an increase in demand for flights in the market. Since the beginning of the year, arrivals on Mauritian soil are constantly increasing. The government's objective is to reach the 1 million tourists mark by the end of this year.

Thus, the price of the ‘maison' loaf remains at Rs 2.60. Other proposals such as subsidies for the production of flour or bread were put forward during a meeting between the two parties. The minister will announce his decision after further consultation.
