Dear Freinds,,,

I'll be planning to move Sohar in 4 weeks time...
I heard that Sohar is nica & calm,,,can you please tell me the approx rent for a 1BD flat,,, & other expences as well.

Hi,

i am a expat from north wales , and i have found that you can get from 100 omr per month a 2/3 bed room accomendation to 800 omr villa per month depending on you circumstances.

if you are on you own then 100 omr per month should cover the rent with around 15 to 20 omr per 3 months for bills, food is cheap, around 20 to 25 omr per week, boooze is expensive around 100 omr per month. car hire around 150 to 200 omr per month( you will need a car)

anyway i'd landed in Muscut & perhaps it will take another few weeks for me to come down to Sohar.
