Hello,

I have accepted a job offer at Muscat International School and I am excited to start this year. Does anybody work at MIS or has anybody worked there previously? What are your experiences like? Anything I should know beforehand?

Also, checked other posts but not much information on MIS so would appreciate any advice.

I teach at another private international school in Oman and enjoy living and working here very much, however I don't know anything about your particular school. You might find it useful to subscribe to the website International Schools Review which posts school reviews from the past few years, mostly written by former teachers. There are also some administrator reviews. There is an annual subscription fee, however I would recommemd it if you intend to make international teaching your career and want to find out what to expect (and which schools to avoid).
