Hi I am hopefully moving to Jeddah shortly and as you can imagine there are lots of questions and excitement around the move but my burning question is about golf courses.

When looking online I am struggling to find a definitive answer about golf in or around Jeddah. If someone could help me out I would be very grateful

Is there a golf course which ex pats can use?
If yes can women play there?
If women can play are there any restrictions
Are there any women already in Jeddah who play golf please get in touch 😀

I searched this here too but no clear answer about golf in Jeddah.
Hope this topic will finally draw a positive answer.

No golf courses around Jeddah. The only course is in KAUST for residents.

Thank you for your replies, that's a huge disappointment, maybe Riyadh will be a better location for me.

I don't know about Jeddah but there are several courses in/around Riyadh you can play as a female guest. Arizona Ranch Compound (9 holes), NOFA resort (18 holes) - 45 minute drive south west of Riyadh, Intercontinental Hotel (9 holes) and Dirab (18 holes) - Riyadh city limits, are the ones I have played at.

unfortunately there are no golf course in Jeddah. despite that, I can ague that Jeddah city is much more open and comfortable for visitors than Riyadh
