Never been out of the country before. Going to Belize City for daughters wedding.
How does one get from airport to hotel and to shops and restaurants.? Are there McDonalds and such places there. What are the costs there? Thanks!

I'll jump in even though I've never been to Belize. Suggest you check with the hotel. I'd be they can take care of you for all this.

Yes the hotel will pick you up at the airport, book that in advance.
No fast food places in Belize...junk food is not good for you anyways.
The Hotel can get you a cab anytime you desire. You will find plenty of restaurants that serve what we call American food.
Somehow I feel this is a joke, why isn't your daughter giving you this information?

Where in Belize is the wedding. Though Belize is not a big country, where you are going makes a big difference. If the wedding / hotel is on a island is much different than in Belize City, or many other coast places, or inland places.
