No masks in public places anymore and clubs and pubs reopen... something to look forward to. What can you do to celebrate this weekend?

While in most places, masks are no longer required, they are still compulsory in hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, nursing homes and at the airport and port. The 50 people limit for gatherings, weddings or funerals has also been lifted. The same goes for restrictions on beaches. But it is especially the reopening of the clubs that has caught the attention of social media users. Here are some things you can do this weekend to celebrate.

Food festival in Caudan

This one is for all of you gourmets. The Caudan Waterfront is holding, this Friday afternoon and Saturday, a culinary festival in collaboration with Gourmet Experience. From street food to fine cuisine, thirty restaurateurs have been selected to participate. There will also be live music. Children will not be left out: A kids corner and musical animations are also planned. Cherry on top: admission is free.

The festival will be held on Friday from 5pm - 11pm and Saturday from 12pm - 11pm.

Discover the local artists

Côte-d'Or will host the competition 'Zoue to La Mizik' this Friday where young local artists will perform. If you are interested in this event, you can contact Jonathan Agathin on 52570727.

The revision of the sanitary measures is a real relief for the nightclubs. Thus, several clubs have been preparing for the reopening and most of them are ready. Local artists have also been booked to ensure clubbers get their money's worth. Blakkayo will perform at the Safari Bar Club in Grand Bay on Saturday night, while Sky To Be will be performing there the next day. Resident DJ sets will follow. The ticket is RS 200 or RS 500 for VIPs.

All your regular nightclubs will also officially reopen this weekend, and the North of the island, especially Grand-Baie, will be grooving all night long from Friday to Saturday and from Saturday to Sunday.
