I'm trying to register my vaccinations on the pedulilindungi app and there is a requirement for "Photo Scanned Identity" which you can select a photo, upload a file or take a picture, but I'm not sure what they're looking for. Can someone please help me with this question? Thanks!
Fred
Passport or ID card is likely but I can't remember

You can enter one of them according to the ID you registered. For example, if you enter your passport ID number, then the passport photo that you input.

Thanks Fred & Ryan. I uploaded our passport photos. All the Best! Keith

Hi ! I uploaded my passport photo, but at the very end when I try to submit my certification, a red message says "Photo Scanned Identity cannot be empty"... But it's not 1f613.svg (and when I go back I can clearly see it uploaded)... I don't know what to do, I cannot complete the submission because of this... Has it happened to anyone ? Many thanks

Penduli Lindungi is a mess.

I registered last year all my vaccs via https://vaksinln.dto.kemkes.go.id/sign/in and is was implemented in Penduli Lindungi. After an update this connection was gone, and I had to implement again in VAKSIN DAN IMUNISASI, VAKSIN COVID-19, VACCINE NON-INDONESIA. But not all at a time. No, one by one. So I implemented my first vaccine and since 21.08. I'm waiting for approval, before I can enter my second one. Then wait again to enter no 3.

Also I need to change my mobile phone, but I don't even get the verification email, or SMS. Happy days.

I'm still at Base Camp. I downloaded the App and 'registered' but I received no pass code to my email or mobile (although I'm in the UK my ' Three' mobile provider works in Indonesia as they have a reciprocal arrangement.)

Contacted the Indonesian Tourist Board in London and the guy said don't worry about it as long as you have the proof of vaccination and booster. 1f914.svg

Hi

If you have trouble registering through the application, try registering through their website.

https://www.pedulilindungi.id/

Good Luck 🙂

If there are still those who experience trouble trying to ask them through their links. The following is their email address.

pedulilindungi@kemkes.go.id

If you don't get a response.  The best way is to comment on their social media

@Ryan_chaniago why do you need PL?

I've never been asked for it?

Anyway, I still can't register my vac certs again, even I was registered in June via     Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia homepage.

Just forget it.

When in my previous place, a smallish town, the app was popular for a while but security would happily let you in with the vaccination card as proof.

I expected things in Jakarta to be much stricter, but the same applies. Places that ask you to scan, and they are fewer and fewer, never argue with the card.

Pedulilindungi is only still used in a few places.  For example, some offices are still tightening inspections.  But many also have ignored it.  The most important thing for them is just temperature.  But again, not all places are like that.  In fact, many people are not wearing masks anymore.

Fred

Most I see have the QR code, and a lot of people use it, but I have yet to be stopped by security for not using it.

However, I do show the card.

DrDavid

@Fred Agreed. The CDC Card always works. Re: why get it? In case you haven't noticed a lot of policies get implemented without notice or retroactively. Life can be roller coaster ride at times.,, 😋 My thoughts are in the future. If one of these anticipated Novel (noncovid) virus crop up or a COVID variant becomes nasty - there may be sudden and highly restrictive regulations implemented. Having PL may ease the stress when EVERYONE all of a sudden is rushing to get squared away. (Lots of previous DR and Risk Management exp here, so when possible I try to anticipate & plan ahead).

One other "jewel": once you apply for approval of your o'seas vax, after a week or so, try using the PL app as you enter somewhere.

It will show red, and you can present your card if anyone asks (they won't) but in a nut she'll, I discovered after an 11 month+ wait, using PL seemed to sound an alarm with MOH. Within 2 days, my vax from US was approved. Coincidence? I think not. Pretty sure they only monitor exceptions and when one pops up, then they start to move. (It's a thought). Merry Christmas, all!

Take your printed vaccine certificates and everything glues smooth

I keep a set of copies in the car but I have never been asked for them

Remember the Amex commercial from the 70's 'Never leave home without it' I used that as a reminder to have a mask in each trouser/shorts pocket after my arrival in Jakarta in early Nov.

Granted I should have known better but there was a strict policy of wearing masks inside buildings. There were even people wearing masks outside - duh.

I failed the intelligence test on downloading the 'P' app and as per my earlier post above took the London Indonesian Tourist Bureau advice and just had my vaccination card with me along with the Customs QR code. What a farrago arriving at Soekarno- Hatta at midnight on the Cebu Pacific flight from Manila. Bureaucracy gone mad. Had to go to 2 different desks to get documentation ( note they have reintroduced the Immigration Xmas Bonus, sorry, Visa fee of IDR500,000) before going through Immigration. 1.5 hour queue wait.

Fortunately I had booked an overnight stay at the FM7 airport hotel as I did not fancy the 1 hour taxi ride into town at that time. If ever you need an airport hotel the FM7 is highly recommended.

Soon realised I needed the 'P' QR code on my iphone to go into offices and shopping malls but instead showed the Customs QR code which had Jakarta written at the top and hey ho was waved through.

One of the few occasions where Jakarta is behind the curve versus its comparable neighbour Manila. Come on Indonesia get your act together.

Harald54

@Lotus Eater I arrived 02.10. at ~1am from Jeddah, and it took me 2 minutes showing my 3 German vac cert print out, and go ahead to the voa desk. Same when I arrived on 05.12. from Manila. They checked again 2 minutes, and send me further.

To fill the e-form for customs took me longer.

what do you think of the "online" public service?

All the governments have always told us "it will go faster, it's safer, it's more efficient and it saves civil servants....."

Online has made a big difference to me on several occasions, and the idea is getting better as it spreads.

I still hear about issues, but give them time.

Harald54

Germany is far behind, when it comes to public online services. Not only in online public services, but also in net availability. Decision making isn't the best skill of German politicians
