@AlexFromBelgium OK tnx very much. But my search on ibz(home affairs) doesn't yield any result. Pls help me how to know my Application status
i applied family visit visa for Belgium but 31 days passd still i am waiting for visa
@AlexFromBelgium hi how are you? i applied family visit visa for Belgium 34 days before still no decision can u please help me long time is good or bad for my visa ???
@AlexFromBelgium I would like to mention this response is incorrect and very disappointing! I read this comment and freaked out that my case is about to be denied since it’s sent to immigration office! Then I found a link somewhere that said if you are citizens of some countries (mostly Middle East and Asia) your application is sent directly to immigration office, which makes sense as I am from Iran! I got my approval 10 days after the submission and I looked at some statistics and most appliants were approved (90%). So please don’t let this person’s comment stress you out! Your application going to immigration office doesn’t mean there is a problem, it means they need to look at it more carefully and if you haven’t done anything wrong you’ll get your approval soon! Good luck every one!
Hello,
sorry but no, there are no visa sanctions on Iran except for known "violent" people.
Confirmed on iran.diplomatie.belgium.be and https://www.vfsglobal.com/one-pager/bel … index.html
If your file is perfect, it doesn't go to the immigration in Brussels for short stay visa, only for long stay which is the normal process.
The approval rate of 90% is for MULTIPLE ENTRIES visa request, granted nearly only to people who have already received a schengen visa BEFORE.
The real stats are available here:
https://home-affairs.ec.europa.eu/polic … graph_1903
When you check the stats of 2021 from the embassy in Teheran, you'll read:
Total requests: 307
Total visa issued: 89 (including multiple entry visa)
Total multiple entry visa issued: 24
89 on 307 cases => 29% from Iran.
Anyway, again and again... if you've a good job and a salary that compete with EU minimum or a partner that can cover for you, you'll nearly ALWAYS have your visa C. That's a fact!
@Ali Drabo did you got your visa approved and how long took for decision please
@Ali Drabo is your visa approved??? And how long did they took for decision please
@AlexFromBelgium hi Alex, I have applied for belgium visa for business trip. They rejected my visa. They mentioned 2 reasons:
1. Justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not provided
2. There are reasonable doubts as to your intention to leave the territory of the member states before the expiry of the visa.
Again I have applied recently with additional documents like my marriage certificate and my daughter birth certificate, in order to rectify the second refusal reason. Now again my visa application is on hold and it sent for
Belgian authority decision. I didn't know what I did wrong. If anyone can suggest me in this regard.
The thing is, as you've been denied last time, Belgian's embassy must send your application to Brussel's immigration for final decision.
So it's normal process.
@AlexFromBelgium thank you. But what is the probability now?. My company has again prepared all my documents and I have submitted that additional supporting documents for the previous refusal reason. Now all the documents were as per their requirement.
I don't know the quality of your documents.
If you've shown strong social & economic tie to your home country, state the reason of your business visa (invitation letter from the company), and shown booking in hotel of every day of your stay in Belgium, then everything should be fine
@AlexFromBelgium I have submitted my marriage certificate and my daughter birth certificate. I have given the declaration letter too that I will submit my passport for verification to embassy, once I reach India. And my invitation letter content for your reference.
We are inviting Mr. Mohammedismail Anvarali, for the technical training to implement the new project “online defect identification system” in the production process line. This will allow us to export more products to our Indian factory, so they can check at their end by using this system and they will distribute the goods throughout India. This will ultimately increase the belgium revenue. So, to implement this project in our Indian factory, he needs proper training in our Belgium concern from 8th January 2023 to 4th February 2023.
@AlexFromBelgium my visa has been granted. I have seen the status as akkoord today. Thanks for the suggestion.
@Guest6986 hiii! What is the meaning of "accord"??? Is it mean visa aprroved??

Is there any rule that the visa should be granted/rejected x number of days before the travel date if visa is forwarded to Immigration office? Parents flight is in another 19 days and we are yet to receive a response.
