I have a job in Malta. My company is ready to sponsor me.
I have arrived in Malta and my company has already submitted my application with all docs pending approval by Identity Malta.
I was in France before I arrived here, and my French schengen resident visa is going to expire.
However as I have already applied while my visa was valid , is it enough to remain safely in Malta till I get my blue paper.

So far you have all your supporting documents with you before your Visa expires you are valid.
That's my experience I stays in Delhi & if you apply for extension before your Visa expires you are valid.

Contact Malta immigration immediately for a respective stamp in your passport.

Once the employer applies for your work permit, you’ll receive a confirmation letter from Identity Malta on which will say you have the right to remain in Malta until the decision is taken on your application.
Make sure to check your post box.
