Denmark lifts all Covid-19 restrictions

Maybe you haven't heard about this, Denmark has lifted all Covid-19 restrictions on Sept 10th. The following is a quote from NPR & Associated Press.

"After 548 days with restrictions to limit the spread of Covid-19 Denmark's high vaccination rate has enabled the Scandinavian country to become one of the first European Nations to lift all domestic restrictions."

That's almost a month ago, it seems odd that this good news has not received more play in the worldly news.

No Vaccination cards required, no face masks or shields and no social distancing.

Yes, and then there's this.......

Not to start a food fight with you but the of temporarily suspension of AstraZeneca  was from an article in March. In another article it was because of two cases of thrombosis, one being fatal. At that time 150,000 thousand people had received the AstraZeneca vaccination.

In the UK after 20 million doses 79 people developed unusual blood clots with 19 deaths.

The Czech deputy Prime Minister had instructed the Czech Ambassador to buy the 2.4 million remaining doses from Denmark.

In an article in May, the AstraZeneca vaccine in Denmark will be available to people under a voluntary program if they do not want to wait for the rollout of the vaccination program.

Yes, I know the article is from March. Might I suggest that you look at the USA VAERS data, and what the corruption charges are that just prompted the Aussie to step down.

Yin and Yang

Fun Facts:

An update from 9-17-2021, shows COVID19 vaccine-related deaths reported to the VAERS system at 15,386. Additionally, we find over 66,000 hospitalizations and 20,789 who have been permanently disabled.

Another Fun Fact: A study indicates that only 1% of cases are reported.

These statistics are directly from the reporting agency so this post should not be deleted:

https://www.medalerts.org/vaersdb/findf … AX=COVID19

Im not sure if Sweden lifted ALL restrictions but seem so because now they e g allow unlimited groups as in sport events since a few days ago. And no facemasks among people taking care of ill/old.  (I mean back to how it  was before covid so of course there are covers in some hospital situations.)

So I believe it will become a new wave of covid by both government and most people are not careful  TO EARLY.

Btw I got offered a THIRD shot today.  I get it among the first (=second priority group after hospital workers)  so it will take time until the "public" has got it.

Yes it really is difficult though to have a life unless one gets vaccinated. That said, what is one to do when faced with this dilemma of taking the risk they might die or become disabled from a given Covid vaccine or not be able to travel unless they have proof of vaccination? It's a rhetorical question I ask myself all the time. I'd prefer not to take any vaccinations but at the same time it's getting increasingly more difficult to have a life without proof of vaccinations. Arghh

The most important thing to consider: health benefit versus risk.

Benefits of having the vaccine unrelated to health.

Collateral damage to people, families, businesses and economies of the world.

Most of the wrong guidance can be contributed to: It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Coach. . . .How long between your second shot and third shot?

From Worldometer:

Sweden population: 10,174,813
Covid cases:                 1,155,534
Covid deaths:                   14,836

Ahhh.. FortuneFavorsTheBold just won't quit on his Anti-Vax peddling.

Before I embed some links in here I will sum up what he's been doing when he provides links, and keeps telling people to check the "official" VAERS data, or go to the MEDATA reporting system. Something he has done more than a half a dozen times in the past month.

First of all, the links he provides are not to the CDC or other qualified VAERS reporting system, but to an Anti-Vax site - the National Vaccine Information Center, which misrepresents the data. It is funded in part by the infamous Dr Mercola, one of the leading anti-vaxxers in the world, who makes millions off of his alternative therapies.

Secondly, VAERS is just raw data, which can be submitted by anyone, even you or me.  It IS NOT VALIDATED as to cause of symptoms  or death, and was not designed to be.

Here is a information regarding the National Vaccine information Center:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_ … ion_Center

Here is link to their main page, where you can see that Dr Mercola has extended his matching donations(!), as well as some of their anti-vaccine propaganda.

https://www.nvic.org

Regarding VAERS itself - it  is in fact a legitimate vaccine data reporting system and database, but it does not validate anything. A person could have died after receiving a vaccine due to something completely different but that is not captured in the database. This is a known characteristic in the system and why it is used to provide early warning signals only about POSSIBLE issues with vaccines, by looking at patterns in the data. By it's nature however, cherry-picking or manipulating the data is easy to do, and this is a known issue lately.

Here is a link to the CDC website, and on the first page they make clear that ANYONE can add to the database, and there is NO VALIDATION of the data.  They state clearly VAERS is not designed to determine if a vaccine caused or contributed to an adverse event. A report to VAERS does not mean the vaccine caused the event.

https://www.cdc.gov/vaccinesafety/ensur … index.html

Anti-vaxxers have seized on this characteristic of the database to terrify the public by claiming there have been many thousands of deaths due to the Covid vaccine. And they have tried to dress it up in vaguely official sounding website names and terms, but it's still the same old anti-vax misinformation.

https://www.factcheck.org/2021/03/scich … -vaccines/

These Anti-Vaxxers bank on the fact that most of us do only superficial research. We may not click the supplied link. If we do we might be overwhelmed by what we see. We probably don't research the site itself if it vaguely looks official. Or who is sponsoring it.  But if you do your homework you will see what they are doing. Why, I have no idea. Conspiracy theories, ant-government senntiment, who knows? But it will not be tolerated here on our forum.

Correct.   There have been some restriction mainly hiting sports and music evens by no pectators allowed until recently.
And a few facemask demands within caretaking

I havent got te third yet, just got offer to get it,  but around half year.

I believe Sweden got unnecesary many cases by STUPIDITY in the department, which have the asignment to make recomendatations.
When part of the world had lockdowns and covers,
Swedish borders were OPEN
and the idiots put in charge by other idiots said ONE ARM LENGTH distance WITHOUT any cover is safe, although what they based that at was it was believed to be safe IN AVERAGE a METER away!!!   Thats MORE than an arm length...
They kept that idiotic conclusion, inspite of I pointed that out for them twice   :)

I would imagine that other countries do not have high vaccination rates and don't want to deal with the complaining, I wouldn't. I wonder though does that make Denmark more intelligent than the rest of the world or just lucking to have a lot of people that actually care about other people?

While not a conspiracy theorist nor anti vaccine w#nker I do see the winner, planned? Unplanned? While we all fight and bicker over stupid sh#t and not see the big picture.

No matter government or policy what is next? Bend over because it's coming to a theatre near you and while left and right procrastinate? Bigger things afoot. A united people stand firm and prevail, divided they fall.

As our friend Lankan often states B/S. I remember 40 plus years ago our arguments were about GM and Ford, which is better but in the mean time we were united with patriotism for our country and a world direction for the benefit of all.

Now?

As said many times there are those rubbing their hands together and laughing at egotistical views.

OMO.

Cheers, Steve.

Hello everyone,

As previously stated, Expat.com is not quite the forum to debate vaccines and its effectiveness.

I would advise all of you to stay clear of discussing on that.

Thanks,

Hello Diksha ~

Yes, I completely agree, so please be so kind as to remove pnwcyclist's highly offensive post above, which is filled with insults and personal attacks with name calling and disinformation, which is clearly in violation of this forums rules.

Thank you, much appreciated ~

Again, three simple things to consider when thinking about vaccines:

1.) Is it safe?
2.) Is it effective?
3.) Is it necessary?

If you or a loved one has been injured or killed by a vaccine, you can report it here:

https://vaers.hhs.gov/reportevent.html
