Looked at my Bank Account....Stimulas Payment Deposit  Pending April 15....(interesting date).....I will have to go back for the other 1,200....after the powers that be Approve the "Married  Joint 1040x" I am not leaving any free money on the table, yet I am wondering was the  Stimulas Information  came from the  IRS or SSA....

If you´re receiving direct deposit from SSA it likely came from there. When you filed your amended tax
return (1040x) did you give them your DD bank info?

The Amended Must Be Mailed (physical check) I guess so one has to Portion the proceeds....lol.

Maybe with the problem going on globally, they may lighten the rules and let the DD go through on the Amended????? Phat Chance that will happen....lol

It requires her signature and mines then I have to mail the dayuuuummmm thingy back to Alaska...the Regular 1040 will be direct deposit.  That will take longer than Quarantine. ..and then the "Portion

If the Returns Ever get out of the "Black Hole of Sao Paulo "  I haven't checked the Registry yet of the Correi for fear I will have to fly into SP and visit them, for the customary "Noa Entendi"... lol....waited this long ... a few more years won't hurt me...just want the cash to go shop and Keep America  Great...

It's based on "income and Total monies" I got mines in the first run of direct deposits...now let's see if the 2nd falls in order with the 1st payment....

The IRS went back to work Monday. I had to do Paper Returns , So Who  Knows when that will show up...what rattles my cage is the Amended Return Refunds are mailed..I have 2 pending 2016 and 2018 and 2019 should be Direct Deposit...

Last Friday, the IRS announced this coming Wednesday as a deadline for making sure that your direct deposit info is entered in "Get My Payment":

I did my direct deposit to a  US bank. But it didn't go through so they are sending me a check. Lucky I have a US mail service as my address were it will go. I can get it opened and use to deposit it via my bank app. I don't know why my Bank wouldn't accept it.

Check your Account, mines gave me a Posting Date..

it read "Pending ACH Deposit".

I am wondering for the IRS used my 2018 Tax information, I was married in 2018 and Amended 2018 to " Married/Joint"..the way them boys and girls are working maybe they will  send another deposit..

I will give her a "Portion"... Meanwhile my " Economic Problems" would be solved if they Processed the 2016,2018 and 2019 Returns...

I filed my taxes last year, 2019; verified my stimulus today before noon through "Get My Payment" and it stated my check "scheduled for mailing May 1st." Have to check my P.O. Box at the Correios tomorrow just in case...

I agree.  And even though our elected officials at the Federal level seem to have an aversion to telling the truth, the IRS consists mostly of civil servants,  so I'm going to believe them.  Especially when they say they've chosen the least convenient method.
