If you're looking for a senior position, then it's generally the agencies you should be looking at; the key Dutch word to use in your Google searches is "Uitzendbureau", so add the word Amsterdam, will give you a start in your search and the contact details of the agencies currently looking for staff.

Generally, long-range job searching is problematic; the moment they realise you can't start work tomorrow and don't speak Dutch, they will be looking elsewhere, so you need to really enhance your key skills and achievements to make yourself a real alternative to somebody not already living in the Netherlands and worth waiting for.
