Actually I've been an expat before working for a US company in the semiconductor field.
I'm retried now, have a taiwan "bule card"  ie "green card"  recently returned to the US.

will be going back to Taiwan some time later on this yr.....

Hi my name is Mark, I am married to a man from Taiwan and we are looking at leaving US and moving to Taipei permanently. We travel to Taiwan at least twice a year now. This year (October 2020) we will register our legal marriage in ROC.

Time-line is within the next 12 to 18 months.
   Looking for any advice, what to bring, what to consider shipping. i see cars are not worth, just buy something over there...what about furniture/beds/couches etc?  cost ..shipping time?

Check the immigration website to see if you can get visa to come to Taiwan.
