Hello,
We're looking to improve our language skills this summer. I'm probably an intermediate student (can hold a conversation and read but can be shaky on grammar), and my spouse is a beginner to high beginner.
We'd love to be near Guanajuato, but we're willing to look around.

Years ago I went to Instituto del Falcon in Guanajuato and it was excellent.

I would look into Oaxaca. Not the area you want but a great city with many schools that will tailor to your skill level.
