Hey folks,
I'm staying in Vietnam for 6-7 months and at one point will probably go to Cambodia for a VISA run but I'd also like to use this opportunity to visit a town that would not be too far from Ha Tien, maybe spend a night or two with my girlfriend. I've never been to Cambodia so far. Any recommendation on a place that could be interesting to visit not too far from Ha Tien? Thanks!

Hello.
There is not much around Kampot, as far as towns/cities is concerned.
Closest is Sihanoukville, 70 km away, buses go there and of course taxis.
Sihanoukville is a giant construction site right now, but there are still quiet beaches and nice places to stay, certainly for 1 or 2 nights.
Closer to Kampot are several possibilities to view nice things, like the Bokor Mountain National Park, Kep at the sea, and more. Google "What to do in Kampot" and you will find many options.
