What are the important aspects you would personally keep in mind during the planning phase (social security benefits, ongoing medical treatment, etc.)?
Are you required to go through a medical check-up before your move?
Are there any organisations or groups who lend support to expatriates who have a disability?
What are your thoughts on the infrastructure in Panama (public spaces, transportation and buildings)?
Are there enough opportunities to make the most of your social life in Panama? Are leisure activities made accessible to people with disabilities?

We had a Spanish student client who came here in a wheelchair recently, and he was very happy with the new work they did on Via Argentina, very wheelchair friendly, unlike other parts of the city. Also, as he had been researching hotels for a few months before arrival he also chose and recommended Hotel Principe as a place to stay as it best catered to his particular disability.
