Music day will be celebrated this 21st of June across the world. It is an opportunity for new expatriates and expats-to-be to discover and get excited about new ways of celebrating this special day in Cambodia. Is Music day popular in Cambodia?

Dear Priscilla.
I don't know what is going on in Cambodia re this World Music day.
I remember from past years that there were celebrations all over Phnom Penh, with concerts in Meta House, performances in all music styles.
This year I cannot even find a hint to World Music day. I mean the two main newspapers don't mention it at all and it's in 10 days from now.
Maybe someone else has some inside information, to me it looks like hardly a celebration at all.
It's not the language, I also searched for the original title Fete de la Musique, but with no results.
Sorry to not have interesting information.
