Hello all
Has anyone experience of getting their uk pensions paid into Bulgarian bank accounts , I have been transferring money into my partners account but I'm now looking to get some form of residency
What I'm interested in what kind of exchange rate you would get,I have been using a transfer company up until now, but think I will need to have local bank account to complete the visa application for residency to prove my income
I have checked with my uk bank, and do not need a uk address to keep my account open so that might be the way forward just to keep transferring my pension into an account using the transfer company

Personally I just had my UK pension paid direct to my BG bank account. It's there every month without the hassle of transfers. Exchange rate varies slightly but not enough to worry about.
