Credit Card for working expats in the US

Hi Everyone!
I recently moved to the bay area, and looking for a good credit card I can get approved for without credit history, and hopefully the fees won't be too high!
Any recommendations?

Request a secured credit card at the bank you have your checking account with. Pay it on time every month. After six months request a credit card. Walk in do not apply on line.

Will check this out with my bank, it's a bit of a hassle as I am working long hours, but if thats the only choice I'll find the time

BTW! I found this company- CreditStacks
They claim they can give you credit card - not secured, even if you dont have a credit history, you do need to show that you have a job and all that.
Trying them out, will let you know
