Phone frauds????

Is anyone else having problems with attempted phone fraud for lack of a better term. The authorities are aware of it and say it is a serious issue. The calls come from the outlying countries of the world and it appears they are actually coming from VIetnam.

Usually it's in Vietnamese, unless you can converse in VN then it shouldn't be a problem.

Apparently they can connect to anybody and once they do they can get all the info they want. I first started getting many a day. I answered a few but the gibberish was always in a foreign language and not Vietnamese either. Then I saw an article about it in one of the Vietnamese online news services. They explained it fairly well, but i forget the details. But they did say they are working hard to get a handle on it. But I still get many a day. Always the country code is other then Vietnam but it registers as emanating from VN. I just block them and no longer answer. But they still keep coming. I will see if i can find that article again.
