How easy is it to find a work-in-English position in HCMC that isn't teaching paying roughly the same as a teacher? 1500-2000$ per month?
& what sort of industry and level would you need to be at?

Most expats seem to be either teachers or have set up their own bar or restaurant, sometimes both.

Of course, there are some expats in specialized fields such as hotel management, engineering, chefs, etc. working for multinational companies. Obviously, the proper qualifications are required.

Anyway, it's possible but maybe not that easy as VN has a large young relatively well-educated workforce already and it's just easier and cheaper to hire locals.
