Asking the question as you have you are likely to get replies along he lines
‘Where I live is the ideal place.' That might be city, countryside, coast etc. Not much help for you.

May I suggest you do some research and ask questions based on a defined area or areas. You may then get closer to knowing what you need to know

Hi Grahamej,

I picked Alicante as it is among the quickest flights from my local airport Stanstead. I have since been told that Alicante is one of the warmer destinations in winter. Being on the coast the sea also levels out the temperature a bit apparently. Today it was in the 20's but nights are cooler.
