I just got Employment Pass type II and going to move on KL. I wonder about Levy Tax and Income Tax for expats as current Malaysia policy. Which kind of expense that will be deducted in my monthly salary ? and how many percent ?

28% income tax for 2018 earnings.
28% income tax January-July 2019 until 182 days in Malaysia.

Possible to obtain refund of difference between 28% and resident rates for 2019
Possible to also get the same for 2018 by not leaving the country for holiday of more than 14 days while trying to become tax resident
