Marriage requirements

I'm a Filipino and I met my Pakistani fiancé in UAE as we're both working for the same company. We're planning to get married this December in Pakistan on a tourist visa. I'm 24 and he's 25. A CENOMAR (Certificate of No Marriage) is a requirement for the marriage and I have no idea how to get it from UAE. Is it possible to just get it from the Philippine Embassy in Pakistan? Or is the CENOMAR taken directly from the Philippines?

Dear LuisaElle

You can have Certificate of No Marriage from the Philippines and attest it by MOFA in Manila or you can obtain an affidavit of singleness from Filipino consulate in Dubai or Embassy in Abu Dhabi signed by you in English and it must be legally translated into Arabic then submitted to Marriage authorities.

Thank you for your response. The Affidavit of Singleness seems a lot easier to get so why do people opt for the CENOMAR from the Philippines? Will it not be accepted in Pakistan? What are the requirements needed to obtain the Affidavit of Singleness?
