Post new topic

Hi, just want to ask if 300k Php is enough to build a 2 storey house in manila?

Hello

Depending on the kind of house and location.

300,000.00 won't be  enough to  buy a house in Manila.

A  30Sqm Condo  unit  would  cost you aroung 2 - 4 Million depending on  the location.

Hope it helps :)

At the moment. I am visiting here on Panglao Island (Bohol) .  An American friend of mine and his girlfriend have just recently moved into a new 3 bedroom 2 story house in a sub division here.  The cost for him was 5 million pesos and still some little fix ups required .

No. PhP300,000 would not be enough to build a house in Manila.

To legally build a house, you have to secure a building permit, which means you have to have an architect draw up a plan, which then has to be submitted to city hall. That alone would cost you 70.000 or more.

So that will leave you with around 230,000, which would not be enough for the materials for building  the structure (posts, 1st and 2md flooring, CHB outer shell and roof) of a 2-story house.

Consult with an architect or general contractor as to the cost of building a house. The building plans also have a bill of materials, which would have an estimate of the cost of building the house.
