Is this possible in San Miguel? Are there places to work?

A foreigner needs a work permit  to work in mexico

I understand, was looking into visa”s this afternoon. It's all so new to me.Just started.

u want work, best to move to juarez. boomtown of mexico

better still, live in juarez and work in el paso. that is what my son is doing. me? i am retired living with my girlfriend

why work for mexican pesos when u can work for an american company in el paso and get paid in usd?

housing is dirt cheap in juarez. i have a 2brm apt for $270 usd. one friend rents a 4 bdrm  house  for $450usd

That's very sound advice. I appreciate it.

Randy

I think you would be better to live by the border where you can work. I think you will need to show more income if you want to qualify for anything besides a tourist visa.
