Where do you consider home?

I'm currently in the United States for about 2 months,  for many reasons.  My ex-wife is relocating from Los Angeles,  CA to the Dallas,  Texas area, and I'm helping her move. I'm renewing my passport. And one of my companies is going thru a bank audit. I'm really missing "home" as in Santo Domingo. I can't wait to leave here and return there.
My questions is, When did you start viewing the Dominican Republic as your home? Or is your country of birth still your home?

Home is where I sleep. Home is where I.m content, where I laugh, make love, enjoy the company of friends, warm clime & wonderful food.  Home is in my heart & mind, home is here, a R/C in my hand & the sound of music in the air, sleeping naked without a blanket, the soft whirriing of the ceiling fan keeping the errant mosquito at bay,  Where is home?  Right here, right here.
