British Trained Consultant(Doctor) needs advice to move to RSA.

Hi,
I am a fully trained consultant in rheumatology and general medicine. I am planning to move to RSA but need information regarding job and entry level requirements. Thanks

The state doesn't have funds to hire it's own doctors. The litigation bill is in excess of 10 billion. The HPCSA is a real pain. You are looking at 1 year with foreign workforce and hpcsa. Then you have to convince the doh to hire you. To ease this pain, try ahp.org.za Good luck and you will need it.

for a start.   Other via net South African Embassy or consul general London.
The hospital then was / is the best non teaching hospital nationally.
