Hi,
Is it possible to keep the bank account remain active if you are leaving the country once your work contract with your organisation ends. And come back after a month to close the bank account permanently? The tax clearance from IRD is done in my case.

You can keep the account open as long as you like - the issue is opening one in the first place.
