Hello,

I would like some information on day care in Kampala for a 2 year old. I would appreciate if you could share your experience on what is available, where most expats take their toddlers for day care, how safe are they in terms of hygiene, staff etc...
Thank you again all!!

Also have a two yr old not yet in day care though. l have been asking friends from church and other country man and the schools that keep topping the list are Heritage,Daffodils, Acorns and Agha Khan (their affordability could have something to do with it).Because of the terrible traffic jams during peak hours l would advise you first establish where you will be staying before find a day care to avoid stressing yourself and the child.

If you have new questions I would suggest you to post them on the Kampala forum for better visibility and increasing your chances of obtaining responses ;)

Good luck

Hi,

This is my first post. We are in the process of thinking about moving to Kampala, with a 2 year old and a baby (due in August). I am an Ofsted registered Childminder with first aid training and basic food hygiene certificate. Just out of interest do you think that I would get any work childminding children in the expat community in Kampala?

Thanks
Vicky
