How do expats feel about helping Ugandan children in remote areas?

Hi

I do hope you don't mind my asking this. I'm helping a UK charity get a feel for whether expats living in Uganda would be interested in helping to fund a school for very poor children in a remote part of Uganda.

There is almost nothing in the area, and the children are currently going to school under just a roof held up by a few poles. They sit on a dirt floor and when it pours, it floods. There are 250 children who need a proper school with classrooms and desks...

How do expats in Uganda feel about doing this kind of thing? And if it's something that would be of interest, what's the best way to reach you all?? Internet. Forums like this? When you're on the plane flying to and from Uganda? Via the websites of the companies you work for??

All suggestions/insight gratefully received! Thank you.
