I am considering to shift from Finland to Prague, can anyone tell
what is considered as a good salary in Prague. How much would I spend if I want to rent a flat in one of the better suburbs?
Are there lot of opportunities for IT people? replies will be greatly appreciated :)

Hello! I have never been to Finland but Prague is a wonderful place.

I am not an expert in salaries but I'm working for a real estate agency with  Prague office so I can tell you a bit about the districts & rents.

Prague 2 and Prague 5 are quite popular among young expats, while Prague 4 is popular with expatriate families.

I work for a real estate agency and our Prague 2 & Prague 5 flats start from about 450 or 500 EUR. We offer higher end/luxury properties so you might be able to find lower rents in the same area.

You can read an overview of Prague districts on our website: http://athome-network.com/Property_in_P … rague.html
and some further introductions to Prague on our blog: www.athomenetwork.blogspot.com

Good luck and let me know if we can offer you any additional assistance!

You should have no problem finding work if your looking for an IT position. Loads of vacancies in this sector and the ones I saw were for way above average salary for here.
