Hi there,

Having negotiations with my company to move to Prague office. I just would like to learn if 4500 euro/month (gross) is a good salary for husband + wife + 1 small baby ? Not sure about the remaining parts of the packages though.

I would say it is decent salary. You can rent a nice apartment and enjoy the life here with your family. With this salary you may even get mortgage (not very easy though) to buy a house here if you want to stay for good.

Thanks for the replies. I had no clue about these. In case I am offered something lower, what should be the minimum that I need to get to have a normal life in CZ?

You need to work out the living expenses for you and your family first by using the website I gave you. That way you have an idea of costs which you then can use to work out what salary level you need.
Then a Google search for tax rates etc. Read other posts here for information.
