As we did in 2015, we give you the opportunity to share your experience and tell us more about products and services average recorded prices in your town/city/area.

Don't hesitate to let us know if the cost of living in Morocco has decreased or increased in the past few years.

I have seen a doctor twice.  Each time it was 150 dirham (I had dysentery, she told me which prescription to get from the pharmacy & how to take it). She only spoke French & I brought my own translator with me.

Hello,

The life is not too expensive in morocco though it is so in some big cities.

But any way there are aeras where we can rent an appartment for 1500 dh

till 2000 dh it is possiblefor example.

Then for the Electricity and water must be about +/- 200 dh per month.

Phone and Internet between 200 and 300 dh per month.

For the food vegetables and fruits are cheap.

For the public transport about 4 dh each time by bus.

Train for 100 KM about 50 dh

At last you shoud have an idea about the cost of the life in Morocco.

If you need any further information don't hesitate.

Does anyone know what the cost of buying land to build a home is specifically in Meknes' outlying areas? If not, does anyone know where I can look for that information?

If you r not moroccon u cant buy land here only properties ie residential or commercial.

My husband is Moroccan. So if anyone has any leads that would be great thanks! We're trying to gather information from abroad so we can plan ahead for our next visit there.

Ok tht shud be fine if he has a family here it be easy to talk to them and if it isnt the case then your best option is to go on website called AVITO google it there u ca choose area n wht kind of land u looking for as for building a house i believe it to be long tiring process lots of paper work involved but i wish you good luck. InshaAllah

I think it really depends on the location,  say if the land is next to a main road near a masjid it's going to be more than if it's far out. I don't know Meknes but I would guess at £10,000 to buy land to build a house. Could be more or less

salaam, Thanks you very much for the information you sent me, you are right these are the basic info that any mover need to get their budget right.

Thanks

Again.

it depends on the location of the land. just like anywhere else. Say the land is close to the beach and in city like El Jadida, Casablanca, Rabat, it will be expensive maybe more than what you would pay in the US. It will be definitely more cheaper to buy the land and build the house rather than buy a built house since labor is cheaper in Morocco. One more heads up, if you do hire a professional person to built the house for you, be very careful, a lot of local contractors are dishonest when it comes to giving you estimate on what would cost you, not to mention they will cut corners, cheat on what they will need in terms of materials (cement, sand, etc..).
Good luck in your adventure

To rent in Missour  Boulemane  how much  2 all 3brms  flat all what is available  there  with includes  gas and electric

To rent a house in Missour in not a big problem. As this town is small renting a house there doesn't require a lot about 1500 dh you can rent a good appartement. For water and electicity the bill will be between 200 and 300 dh per month.

Salaam and Ramadan Mubarak,

Please give me some guide what the price MIN for 2 bed rooms flat at Casablanca (close to Hassan mosque approx half mile radios.

Many thanks
WaSalaam
