Monkey Town brew

Well, I will say that hunting and fishing are wildly popular here. The fishing down here in monkey River is exceptional. Lots of good hunting in the jungle too. Plenty of people for whom hunting and fishing supply a large chunk of their protein. I know there's been some concern about over hunting of animals that are jaguar prey, but I'm not sure about limits or seasons.

If I'm not mistaken, I don't believe you're allowed to possess a gun/get a gun license until you are a permanent resident. Not sure about bows.

terrific

There are definite seasons for hunting of different wild life, and I believe the ones with seasons the are only wild life  you can legally hunt. You  will need licenses for each category.  I  don't know full details  off hand but someone may have a copy or link to a suitable page. I  do know that for some reason they always seem to have the relevant poster  on display in Cheers, I suppose it is a pretty central point for a natural comfort break if traveling east to west or vice versa.
Guns have to be licensed and I believe you need to be a Citizen or perhaps permanent resident. I do know any Belize Licenses are all renewable on you Birthday, same price if you get it a week before your birthday or the day after. They sell crossbows in several stores including Spanish Lookout. Do not know if licenses needed for them.
