Hi everyone,

Do you follow fashion trends in Norway? Every country and every culture has its own dress code. As far as you are concerned, have you changed the way you dress?

Can one easily find fashion boutiques in Norway? Are clothes expensive there? Or cheap?

What do Norwegians usually wear or like to wear the most?

I don't find norwegian fashion styles very attractive.  Their fashion styles are all dependent on seasons. During winter months, you see all the dark and grey colours.  During the warmer months, all the bright colours pop up.

What shock me the most is men wearing colorful capri trousers during summer.  I have never seen that in Asia.  We are talking about fluroscent colors like neon orange!  Its kind of fun.

The cheaper shops in Norway are mainly the big chain boutiques like H&M, Lindex etc.  H&M is quite highly affordable but quality is questionable.  You can also find Mango, Zara, Monsoon etc type of mid range shops.

Norwegians generally loves to wear jeans and casual tops.  The ladies love to wear skinny jeans regardless what body shapes they are in.

Shoe designs in Norway is REALLY boring, compared to the types back in Asia.  They are expensive too!  I hardly buy any frilly shoes due to its practicality and price for quality.  I stick to Ecco shoes that are boring but functional and durable.  Norwegian ladies like to wear heels.  No matter how icy the ground is, you can always find lots of ladies wearing high heels.
