Uh-oh, Zika in Cayman

This will hurt our tourism industry, I fear.

Loads of newspaper hype about this, just as there was with bird flu.
One case doesn't make a general issue tourists need to seriously consider.

Lets hope the Sun's 'readers' take more note of the boobs on page 3 than they do of the boobs who write the stories.

True enough, Fred, but Americans are real panic merchants about this sort of thing. If it were happening in faraway Barbados, it would affect us just as much! "Zika all over the Caribbean", you know.

Not just Americans as it's pretty much the same everywhere.
The papers (and The Sun) print a load of scary rubbish and everyone tries to cancel their holiday.
Zika is a serious problem, but one case of a locally transmitted infection wouldn't even come into my weighing up of a potential holiday.

Let's hope other people are bright enough to work it out, not just follow like sheep.
