Education Degree attestation for Oman.

Hello fellow expats,

I am Claudius, am from India but currently based on Kuwait, I have received an offer for employment in Oman. The company has asked me to attest my Degree from Oman Embassy in India and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Oman.

I contacted most of the prominent agencies who facilitate document attestation they all informed me to get my Degree Apostilled from Ministry of External Affairs in India which is then acceptable for Oman without the need to have it attedted from Oman Embassy in India and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Oman.

I have an Apostille done for my Degree, can anyone tell me for sure if that should suffice or do I have to also get it attested from Oman Embassy in India and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Oman.

Hi Claudius,

What you did ...is what I did too.
And it worked.

I am told that the Oman Embassy in India do not do any attestation anymore.
