Hi
We are coming to Addis for a holiday of 3 weeks in January with our 2 young children (6 months and 2+ years) and would apreciate any info on safe taxis/hiring car with driver. We know Addis well and have previously used the blue street taxis but with 2 young children need a taxi with (working) seat belts that would carry baby car seats. We dont really want to drive ourselves. We would like to hire a good car and driver for mornings and/or afternoons just to move around the city. Any ideas, thoughts or contacts would be very much appreciated.

Hi, we are also planning on going to Addis for two/three weeks in January and have never been there before. Since you know Addis well, can you recommend the best hotel and perhaps a tour operator who can help us with tours outside Addis? thank you so much in advance for your help. lu

Hi
We like the Ambassador Hotel about 5 mins from the airport. We stayed there once and it was reasonable as well as being clean. There are lots of hotels to choose from try Trip Advisor for reviews. Sorry dont know of tour operators outside Addis.
