Hello everyone,
I just need to clarify if I may .I have lived in Bali for almost 5 years on a retirement Kitas and recently moved to Jakarta to support my new wife and family after the death of her father I know you must wait 2 years before you can apply for Kitap after 2 years married. Question: must you be sponsored by you wife for the two years before Kitap ?
or my ongoing sponsor an agency/broker is ok ?

If you want to switch to spouse sponsored KITAS you will have to start over again, EPO first then 2 years on KITAS then you are eligible to convert to KITAP.
If you almost have 5 years KITAS Lansia, you can apply for a KITAP Lansia under current sponsor.
