Hi Chritine
I have been in Aberdeen for about three years .. I advise to go to Union Square where there are nice restaurants .. You can use the cinema there for about 150GBP a year to watch nice movies there .. You can as well book some shows in Lemon tree very nice theatre if you like .. Try to rent appartment in Holburn street as it is in city center and you will be close to all nice places .. Unfortunately I left UK otherwise I will invite you for a tour in Aberdeen lol
