I left Oman 2001, I've heard the currency notes have changed. Are the 'old notes' still legal tender ? or do you need to/ can you change them in the bank???

Wonder from where you have heard that "the currency notes have changed" in Oman !
Nothing has been changed, except the addition of a new 20 rial note on the 40th National Day - some 5 years back.
