I want to move to Rincon Puerto Rico. I  need to know if I can receive or transfer the same medical services and HASA benefits that I have here in New York to Rincon Puerto Rico. If  so what agencies would I need to contact to transfer or reapply to in this area.

Hi and welcome to Expat.com.
Healthcare in PR isn't really good..

Hi, I live in Rincon. I've never heard of HASA so I did a little research. Interesting. It appears that HASA is purely a NYC benefit and therefore cannot be "transferred" to PR. Concerning "medical services". If you have a medical insurance policy it may or may be honored in PR. My wife has Horizon BC/BS NJ Direct and it is accepted in PR. I have Medicare and it is accepted in PR. What insurance do you have?

A word about medical care in PR. It is terrible. See this thread: https://www.expat.com/forum/viewtopic.p … 91#1850418

Given your medical situation I would do a lot of research to determine how you will manage in PR.
