Hello Everyone,

Could anyone please advise what curremcy in serbia is used? I have found out it is serbian Dinar which is home currency of Serbia but many places like railways and buses they are mentioning fare in "Euro".

Despite having local serbian currency why some asks for Euro. I don't understand why??

Could anyone please throw light on this?

I will be visiting in serbia very soon. Just want to clearify this before my visit.

Thanks
s

Djilas

Hi,

In Serbia, all paid in dinars (train, bus, water, food), but because the euro is very common and is used in everyday life, all the love expressed in euro as a stable currency. The great advantage is that you have a currency exchange al literally on every corner.
