Hello all,

I am a junior architect looking to move to Dubai from London in August (2013). I am looking to flatshare with similar young professionals, and am wondering if there is anyone out there moving at the same time/in the same boat regarding looking for accommodation?

Hey Man,

There is opportunity here in AD, but it will take some stamina to move here without a job. It's an expensive city. AED 8,000 is really a minimum. although people (expat's) live on less. I'm an American looking for a roommate to replace a friend who moved on, but think AED 4,000 (all in) would be beyond your budget. Need advice, send an e-mail. Good luck !

I actually have a job lined up in Dubai, and AED 4,000 is actually about what I am looking to spend for a room p/m. Seems to be around average for a fairly decent flatshare. But you're in Abu Dhabi?
