hello,
I will live and work in the UK for 8months, my french insurance refuses to cover me in the UK, they tell me to find a insurance in the UK.
Can someone help me? I need an insurance for me and my dwelling...

Insurance for what? car? flat? health insurance?

As long as you're "ordinarly resident" in the U.K., you'll be covered by N.H.S. (http://www.nhs.uk).  I had my first experience with them in the wee hours of Christmas Night, and they did a great job.  This page tries to help clarify whether or not you qualify for free health care:

Insurance for dwelling...I recommend doing a little shopping around as rates are always changing.  Using a cost comparison website is a great place to start.
