Hi all, I wonder if someone can help me. I live in Malta at the moment and my partner is 5 months pregnant. We both lived and worked in the UK before but we left the UK in 2006.
Now, I have a job proposition and if everything goes well, I might go back to the UK to work, hopefully to start working in the end of March.
If that happens and we both go back, would my partner be entitled to have her baby in a UK hospital as normal or she would need to pay any hospital fees?
Just to add we're both Portuguese and therefore, EU citizens. She's also working and paying her social security contributions in Malta for over 6 months and I wonder also if she could transfer her contributions from Malta to UK.

Thanks in advance for your help!
